- Students should start brainstorming ideas for the comic strip
Create a Comic Strip/Graphic Novel/Story Board:
- Students will create a title in the form of a logotype for the comic strip
- Students will create a narrative outline that should include: the characters, character development, problem, crisis, and resolution or punch line
- Students will begin brainstorming the story line that will later include some of the following: a splash page, speech/word/dialogue balloons, thought bubbles, captions, and onomatopoeia sound effects
- Students must have a splash page plus at least 3 panels

- Sharing along with suggestions of everyone's online portfolios: Online portfolios must include a title and text explaining/introducing each project concentrating on how the design promotes aspects of the creative brief.
- Students should take action derived from group critique
- Upload all your work to your websites and email the link to me by Saturday December 9th
- Students to fill out exit KWL form
- Demonstration on how to create an animated gif
- Students will animate one of their comic book characters
- Students should transfer their comic book images to a digital book format, like flip snack. Ultimately, the digital book should be embedded in the websites using the embed buttons
